Fuat Saka was born in Istanbul in 1952 and raised in Trabzon. Saka’s interest in music began during his childhood. In these years he took accordion lessons. He studied music in countries like France and Germany
During his musical career Saka released 20 albums. Saka gave many international solo concerts; he worked with musicians in Germany, France, Denmark and Turkey. In 2000, he was awarded by the Trojan Folklore Research Institute for promoting Turkish folk music internationally. He also collaborated with greek musicians Nikos Papazoglou and Dionysis Savvopoulos.
